mid-year review
these were my goals at the beginning of the year (and still is)
1. a teachable heart - i've realised during these past 6 months of how hard my heart is...how much i struggle to listen to criticism and to grow and learn from that criticism...
2. listening skills - humm... i've also realised lately i've been cutting people when they talk and and i've got this tendency to think of what questions to ask next rather than listening to what this person is talking about
3. patience - teaching sunday school full of hyper-active boys truly does helps you to be patient - a good progress towards reaching that "higher" patience state
4. critical thinking - still needs to learn how to think before i speak (*slap* *slap*)
5. discipline - physical discipline - ..... lalallalallallal tralalla trilili trululu
6. hard working - yeeah... i remember that time when i said to nat2 that i will be getting 2000 words essay this smester and how hard it will be for me to survive etc2. Her reply was - "You don't get my pity! I had to do 6000 words essayss!" (or was it more?).... so much for my "hard-woorking" goal - laziness truly is hard to get rid of! (and easy to get back to)
7. time/money management - hemm... been spendin less time watching animes and reading comics - money wise - hemm... just bought 3 seasons of house and all of LOTR extended dvds... yeah... i do need a slap on the face!
Seriously - things are NOT looking too good!
But as the Bible always says - there is hope! For those who put their trust in the Lord!
so i will put my trust in the Lord that i WILL somehow - learn how to gain these skills... plus - this might be one of those graph thingy - where it has to go down first before it goes up (what's that term called again?! i forgot)
niway - got some more new goals too!!
1. to stick with my plan and commit to it no matter how much of my pride it will costs me
2. to learn how to handle kids and make friends with them
3. to be able to evangelise everyone at any age and religious backgrounds
that's 3 huge goals... niway-- just need to put them out so i will remember to do it...
