bit of greek

there's 2 very interesting Greek words that i've learned that have a very2 interesting meaning: (since i can't use greek font here i can only transliterated it)
1. "prosphero" - "I offer, bring to"
2. "krisis" - means "judgment"

What does these two means about what we think of prosperity and crisis now?! hehe hope it's helpful...
