Law of Love

You know, God is just too wonderful to describe. His laws is just to loving for us. I don't understand why people hate God so much, even to the point of saying that He's an evil unloving God. I know it's because they have not heard of the Real JEsus - but there's only one thing that truly want to share today that is the wonderfulness and loveliness of God's laws.

A lot of people today thinks that God is mean because He gave such hard laws to fulfill. Ezekiel even goes to show that the laws that God gave is the laws that the Israelites will and can never fulfill, and in a way - with the way they were, they could never fulfill such laws - even if it's loving. The law of not commiting adultery, at that time, is hard to fulfill because the other nations are doing it (on a very regular basis and openly and proudly too). The law of not stealing was hard to fulfill because at that time, they had no police system to catch all the thief at the time. And it's almost is a valid reason for the Israelites to not do all the laws in the ten commandmendts and disobey God, because everything around them are doing it too!

But isn't that the same with us here and now? Everyone is stealing, doing free sex, drug, smoking etc2 and thinks that it's "cool" to do it. So ...There is no excuse for anyone to excuse sin! But there is one major difference between the Old Israelites and the new one - that is God is writing the laws (ten commandments, etc) within our very hearts! We know (consciously) what is morally right and morally wrong. We know even from secular laws that killing is wrong. We know and see it!

Why do then do we hate God for His laws? Are they too hard to do? Yes, they are too hard to do if we've been indulging ourselves in sin all these times. But logically, if you think about it, these laws were written for OUR OWN benefits. Think about it! If there is no law about murder, then there is no security for anyone - everyone will be killing and eating his own neighbour because there is no one that cares or thinks that it's wrong. Think if there is no law about adultery- think of what the world would be! Everyone walking around naked making babies on the street and because there is no law about murder, they would casually abort the babies that they've made, and the world would be empty because people would be too stupid to think that without babies then there will be no adults to have sex with!

Isn't the world just chaotic and stupid without the law?! and isn't the law so loving? God's main "weakness" is actually a proof of His marvellous, great and wonderful love! And you know what's more marvellous about Him, is that He knows that we will fail! That's why He gave His only Son for us to die for our sins! By dying on the Cross and rising up again, God enables us to do these laws with all our hearts and all our soul - because He had done it first.

So the next time you slander God, RETHINK about what you're saying. Because the things that you hate most about Him might be the things that you need most from Him.
