the only solution...

I know i said this numerous of times already... but it couldn't be anymore truer now than ever before.... how we should love each other.... why?

what is Jesus great commission? was it to tell people of the world that they are sinful? was it to rebuke everyone that needs rebuking? or was it to spread the gospel?

what is the gospel?

this is the shortest summary of the gospel in the Bible, 2 Timothy 2:8:
"Remember
Jesus Christ
raised from the dead,
descended from David.
This is my gospel,
for which i am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal"

The gospel, is the love story about Jesus... it's the great message that Jesus Christ, the Son of God would come into the world, lived a blameless life, would die to atone for our sin, and raised from the dead to come back to judge...

the key word in the gospel is NOT that we are saved to judge... but we are saved because God loved us... Jesus will do the judging ... NOT US!

so... even the greatest commission for all Christian is to love others... to spread the love story to other people... but... why is it so hard for even Christians to love each other??

loving each other unconditionally is not hard once we laid down our pride... that one i know very well...

pride made us think that we are equal to each other, hence, we should be treated equally and are allowed to treat others the way they treat us!

pride made us think that we own things, such as our talent, rights (the right to stand up for ourselves when people persecute us), gifts, friends and family, even our body...

but once we laid down our pride and let love kicks in... (unconditional love that is)... here's what happen to our pride and our "concept" :

we think that we are equal to each other and we strive to defend that... but pride is a very2 evil thing... instead of wanting to be equal... we actually wants to be more (but we fight in the name of being equal)...

but LOVE... clears all that lies... love tells us that we ARE equal even without trying to defend it... and being equal means that we want to serve each other... NOT being served... because we know we are equal.. then we want to love others the way we love ourselves (logical isn't it?)
because we are equal, we want to treat others the way we want to be treated...

the other thing is...LOVE lets us understand and accept the fact that our everything, is not ours but God alone... and we start using what isn't ours, the way the Giver wants us to use it..

Love allows us to accept others, even though they are not our "cup of tea"... love allows us to NOT see others as annoying being, but to accept differences ... even those differences that we are not used to... and to see them as something beautiful and unique and to start appreciating them...

it is one of the greatest feeling, to know that we don't need to compete with others... to know that we are made to work together NOT to beat each other up! and once we know all this... loving others will not be such a hard thing to do....

the greatest enemy of love is NOT uncaring... it is PRIDE...

pride tells us that to love each other is a stupid thing to do... because when we love each other.. no one will take care and love us

BUT love tells us... love each other regardless whether people love you or not... but be sure that GOD is always taking care and looking out for you!

so rather than us trying to take care of ourselves... let God do the hard work! hehhehe cos He knows what we neeed more than ourselves... and let us take care of others instead because it's way easier than taking care of ourselves (AND WAY MORE FUN TOO!!)
