Why do we argue so much?

This is the weird thing about the world nowadays, which is that we argue so much. We questions whether the things that are really good for us is REALLY good for us or not. We question whether the law that are supposed to protects us and help us with our everyday life is actually useful or LAWFUL or not. We question whether God who BLESS US and LOVES US really exist or not!! HOW very2 peculiar is that!!

I think when i say that society nowadays are full of masochists, its NOT an exaggeration in any way at all! It's actually making it sound better than what it truly is.

Isn't it weird that people who never knew how great it is to be loved REJECTS when people are actually trying to love them or give them the only thing they need. Isn't it weird that people rejects and hate God so much, eventhough that everything that they have is actually God's.

But is it really that weird?

Actually, I'm going to speak against myself now. I'm going to admit that i am wrong when i say that society nowadays are full of masochist. Society nowadays are full of people whose mind has been so twisted that they're unable to differentiate what's wrong and what's right. They're like little children that's been fooled with fake candies ever since they knew the existence of candy. They've been blinded so much to the point of not realising that even the thing that enticed them is actually just an imagination.

So, does the problem lies with the people or with something else?

I guess, part of it lies with people but for the most part of it lies with the will of God. We see over and over again in the Bible that God hardens people's heart. HOWEVER, this does NOT means that it's an excuse for us to slack off.

We too as Christians i think play a significant part. How many times do we argue with non-Christians rather than showing them Love and leading them to the way of salvation through serving them? How many times do we condemn other Christians for not doing things that we think a Christian should do? How many times do we condemn rather than LOVE?

Wait, Isn;t being a Christian all about love? Am I missing something? Do i really have to go to Bible College to be a Christian? Do i have to go to do bible study to be a Christian? Do i have to be smart and rich to be a Christian? Do i have to win an argument to be a christian? Does Jesus do all these things when He was here on earth????????????????????????? Do you get my point?

What then should we do? What protection we have against all those annoying and hateful children of the world?

Ephesians 6

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

19Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

And keep in mind that this is the same person who wrote "speak the truth in love" and wrote a whole chapter about love and at the end of the chapter he SPECIFICALLY wrote

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

The reason why lately i've been so angry about people who misused their Christianity and knowledge is that i had been reading about a post in a CHRISTIAN magazine that actually encourages arguments and winning that arguments about Christianity. That magazine actually says that "we as Christians needs to rebuke and CRITICIZE". How sad is that! My heart had been grieved by that saying.

When do we ever been taught in the BIBLE to criticize anyone? to depend on ourselves and our knowledge of God?
